the gambo manual.
every rule, every number, every wallet. if something on the site is not explained here, it is a bug in the manual, tell us on x.
version 1 · 2026-10-08 · pre-launch. numbers marked tbc get set before the coin exists and will never change after.
1 what gambo is
gambo is a green blob who lives in a den with a capsule machine. the machine sells random packs of real, graded pokémon cards. he does not have a job. his only income is the creator fee on $gambo trades. every fee he gets, he gambles on a pack, in front of everyone, on this site.
the whole thing is one loop:
trade → creator fee → usdc → rip a pack → sell the common or keep the hit → 10% burns $gambo → clips → more trades
it closes. the last step feeds the first. there is no team wallet in the loop and no step where money leaves it except the two that are written down: collector crypt's pack price, and the burn.
2 what you are watching
the room on the home page is not a video. it is a live scene driven by the worker, the program that does the claiming, swapping and ripping. every object in it means something.
| thing | what it is |
|---|---|
| the badge next to the name | live the worker is connected and every event is real. soon the coin has not launched. offline the worker is down after launch; nothing is shown that did not happen. sim you opened the site with ?sim=1; everything is fake and says so. |
| the paper tags | bankroll is the hot wallet's usdc right now. packs ripped and hits are since launch. burned is $gambo sent to the burn instruction, total. |
| the tv | a decorative line when idle. during a rip it shows collector crypt's own checkout: pack, price, expected value, buyback rate, turbo, odds. nothing on it is clickable, it is their screen drawn in our room. |
| the machine, the capsule, the slab | a capsule drops when the pack is paid. it cracks when the card is known. the slab is the real card art from the nft. a hit flies to the wall, a common flies to the bin. |
| the wall | rare and epic pulls he still holds, pulled from the vault wallet. |
| the chat | one line per event, written by the brain (section 7). system lines in grey are from the site, not from him. |
| the strip at the bottom | the ticker: a short log of every event with the pack name and the amounts. |
3 where the money goes
in
every buy and sell of $gambo pays a creator fee into the coin's creator vault. $gambo is launched with a custom creator fee of 2.5% of each trade, paid in $cards, the quote token. that is the whole income of the project. the creator of $gambo is the worker's claim wallet; nobody else can claim it.
the claim and the swap
- the worker checks the vault every 10 minutes and claims when at least 0.05 sol (or the fee-token equivalent, section 9) is waiting.
- the claim is swapped to usdc on jupiter, keeping a 0.02 sol reserve for transaction fees. that usdc is the bankroll.
two wallets, on purpose
- the hot wallet holds only the bankroll and the fee reserve. it signs pack purchases and buybacks. it is the one that can be lost, so it never holds more than it is about to gamble.
- the vault wallet is cold. every card he keeps is sent straight there by the gacha (
altPlayerAddress), it never passes through the hot wallet. the raffle pays out from it. both addresses are printed in the footer of the home page once the coin exists, and both link to the explorer.
out
- pack prices go to collector crypt. that is the only cost of ripping; their api adds no platform fee.
- sellbacks come back as usdc into the bankroll.
- 10% of every sellback buys $gambo on the open market and burns it with the token program's burn instruction (not a transfer to a dead address). the burn transaction is in the ledger.
caps, so a bad day cannot empty the bankroll in an hour
| rips per loop (every 10 min) | 3 |
| usdc spent per rolling 24h | 500 |
| rips per rolling 24h | 60 |
| burn slice of each sellback | 10% |
the caps are env settings on the worker. changing them is a deploy, and every deploy is a post on x.
4 which packs he opens
collector crypt runs several machines (pokémon, one piece, dragon ball, watches) at fixed prices from $10 to $5,000. gambo only rips the pokémon machines for now. two things decide the pack.
the policy decides what he is allowed to open
a band table maps the bankroll to a suggested pack. the band with the highest minimum at or under the bankroll wins; under the first minimum he waits.
| bankroll (usdc) | suggested pack |
|---|---|
| under 25 | wait for fees |
| 25 to 99 | $25 pokémon |
| 100 to 399 | $50 pokémon |
| 400 to 1,499 | $100 pokémon |
| 1,500 and up | $250 pokémon |
if the suggested machine is closed, empty, private or over the bankroll, the nearest pokémon machine by price is used instead, and the reason is logged.
the brain decides which one, inside that
once the allowed set is known, the brain (section 7) picks the pack and says why in one line. its rules are hard-coded: only machines in the allowed set, never over the bankroll, never more than 2× the band's price, never past the daily caps. it can be bold inside the fence. it cannot move the fence. if the brain is off or unreachable, the band's suggestion is used.
what happens to each pull
- turbo is on. commons are sold back automatically the moment the pack opens.
- uncommons are sold back right after.
- rares and epics are kept: sent to the vault wallet, pinned on the wall, raffled (section 8).
- sellbacks pay 85% to 93% of the card's insured value depending on the machine, within collector crypt's buyback window. a pack must be opened within 2 hours of purchase or it is refunded; the worker opens it within seconds.
5 how to verify a rip
every rip has a memo. the memo is the key to everything collector crypt recorded about it.
- open the receipt on the home page (ledger). each row has tx (the purchase or open transaction on solana) and verify.
- verify opens collector crypt's own page for that memo:
collectorcrypt.com/verify-selection/<memo>. it recomputes the pull in your browser from the committed random roll and the card list, and checks it against the award on chain. - the randomness is an ecvrf (rfc 9381) committed through collector crypt's program
ccvrfu3fSpbnPLiUqdWAt85Zn9nq96ekwGTbHqGtdgQ. we cannot influence the roll. neither can they after the commit. - the wallet that paid is the hot wallet from the footer. if a rip is not in the hot wallet's history on the explorer, it did not happen.
we are not affiliated with collector crypt. we use their public gacha api like any other wallet would. nothing about a rip is private to us.
6 the public api
the site reads the same json anyone can. base url: the worker's address, printed in the footer once live. everything is get, cors open, read only.
| route | returns |
|---|---|
| /api/stats | wallet, network, bankroll usdc, packs ripped, hits, $gambo burned, fees claimed, biggest pull, last rip time |
| /api/ledger?limit=50&before=<iso> | every record newest first: rips, buybacks, claims, swaps, burns, errors, with signatures, memos, verify urls |
| /api/vault | the cards he holds: nft address, name, image, rarity, memo, verify url, status |
| /api/raffle | the current draw and past winners |
| /api/health | ok, network, ports |
the websocket
same host, same port. on connect you get hello with the last 50 events, then every event as one json line: { "event", "ts", "seq", "data" }. events: fees.claimed, swap.done, pick.made, rip.start, rip.paid, rip.opened, rip.sold, rip.error, burn.done, wallet.balance, agent.say, loop.tick. build your own room if you want. the data is the same.
7 the brain
gambo's lines are written by a language model, one line per event, from a short description of what just happened: the pack, the price, the rarity, the card, the sellback, the bankroll, how many packs today, the last three things he said. the voice is a text-to-speech model, only on the reveal line, so the site stays cheap to run.
what it decides
- which pack to open, inside the policy fence (section 4).
- what to say. it is told to stay lowercase, under fourteen words, never promise a win, never give financial advice, never claim to be anything but gambo.
what it never decides
- the caps, the bands, the burn slice, the sell rules, the wallets. those are settings a human deploys.
- whether to rip at all. that is the loop: fees in, packs out.
if the model is down, canned lines take over and the site keeps running. a line never changes what happened on chain.
8 the raffle
the cards he keeps are not his. once a week the vault is raffled to holders.
- snapshot: a block height announced on x tbc hours before the draw. holders are weighted by balance at that block.
- minimum: tbc $gambo to be in the draw. the hot wallet, the vault wallet and the liquidity pool are excluded.
- the draw: the winner is picked with the same kind of verifiable randomness as the rips, from the snapshot list. the list, the seed and the result are posted.
- the prize: the winner picks: the nft to their wallet, or the physical card shipped through collector crypt's vault. shipping and collector crypt's withdrawal fee (2% of insured value) come out of the bankroll, not the winner.
- the proof post: the parcel at the door. the winner is asked, never required, to post it.
9 the $cards pairing
$gambo launches on pump.fun with $cards, collector crypt's token, as the quote: you buy and sell $gambo with $cards, not sol. what that means:
- the creator fee arrives in $cards. the worker claims it from the creator vault's $cards account and swaps it to usdc for the bankroll on jupiter, keeping the sol reserve for transaction fees. the claim and the swap are in the ledger like every other leg.
- every pack he rips is bought from collector crypt. every rip is activity on the platform the pair is named after.
- nothing about the loop depends on $cards going up. the bankroll is usdc the moment a fee is claimed.
10 risks, honestly
- this is gambling. expected value is under 1 on every machine. over enough packs the bankroll loses money. that is the show, not a surprise.
- the fee is the only income. 2.5% of every trade, in $cards. no volume, no packs. he gets richer only if the coin trades.
- the machine can be off. collector crypt pauses machines when a tier is low or the pool is off balance. the worker waits and says so.
- the hot wallet can be drained if the server is compromised. it holds the bankroll only. hits never touch it.
- the worker can die. the site then shows offline. it never invents a rip to look alive.
- collector crypt could change terms, fees or close the api. we are a user of a public api, not a partner.
- not affiliated with collector crypt, pump.fun or nintendo. 18+. not financial advice. he is a blob.

12 faq
- can i rip a pack with him?
- not yet. ripping through the site, with a cut topping up his bankroll, is on the list after launch.
- who owns the cards?
- the vault wallet, until a raffle sends one to a holder. the physical cards sit in collector crypt's vault the whole time.
- is the sim real?
- no. the blue sim badge means every rip is invented by the site for a demo. the real room has a red live badge and a ledger you can verify.
- what if he hits something huge?
- it goes to the vault wallet and into the next raffle like anything else. the burn slice only comes from sellbacks, so a big hit is never sold to burn.
- why usdc and not sol for the bankroll?
- collector crypt's packs are priced in usdc. swapping once at claim time keeps the bankroll a number that does not move between rips.
- can the settings change?
- the caps and bands can, by a deploy that is announced. the loop itself (fees → packs, hits → raffle, sellbacks → burn) is the product. if that changes, it is a different project.
